PUBLIC EVENTS

On September 28, 2025, the ISAD2025 organizing committee will hold a series of events open to the public at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. Those who register for the technical sessions will have free admission to the museum. See below for details of the events currently planned.

FDP PUBLIC EXCHANGE MEETING

Faculty of Dinosaur Paleontology (FDP), Fukui Prefectural University was founded on April 1, 2025. To celebrate its foundation, the faculty members and students will hold a public exchange meeting. Visitors can freely talk to them and try some educational programs developed for the undergraduate courses.

PUBLIC SYMPOSIUM

This symposium is open to the general public upon admission to the museum. Guest speakers will be invited to give lectures about their studies on dinosaurs, and there will be time for the public to interact with professional researchers and ask questions. English and Japanese translations will be provided.
